Nick began his fitness career with a love of sports playing 4 years of varsity baseball at Springfield Catholic High School. He earned a scholarship to play baseball at William Woods University where he made the Academic All-Conference team. Nick has B.S. degree in Exercise Science and two of the top personal training certifications: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and Health Fitness Specialist (HFS) by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Before moving back to Springfield Nick made stops at the Callaway County YMCA, Wilson’s Total Fitness in Jefferson City, and worked as a personal trainer and strength coach at William Woods University.
After moving back to Springfield in May of 2009 from Jefferson City, MO, Nick began training at Git Fit Headquarters. He conducts one-on-one training sessions, small groups, and boot camp sessions. In almost five years of personal training, Nick has accumulated experience working with clients who are beginners, who have never picked up a weight to collegiate athletes as well as clients ranging in ages from 11 to 75.
Nick has specialized in working with clients on weight-loss, life-style changes, post-rehab strength training, sports specific strength and conditioning, and muscle mass building. Nick enjoys the satisfaction of seeing clients reach their goals no matter how large or small they seem.
